ChristianaCare Private Duty serves patients throughout Delaware and is recruiting for specific cases, including 10p-6a and 9p-5a shifts, as well as some day shifts. These patients require gastric tube feedings for nutrition and have other medical conditions that require constant monitoring. ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking Per Diem LPNs to work in Newark, Wilmington, or Kent/Sussex, Delaware within our Private Duty Nursing department. This position offers:

• Schedule flexibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight care while parents and caregivers sleep, ensuring the patient’s safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and other prescribed treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate care with the family, the patient’s physician, and other healthcare professionals.
• Create positive relationships by serving in a compassionate, responsive, and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Delaware LPN license with one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited LPN education program.
• Work experience in an acute or chronic care facility or home health agency is preferred.
• Previous Home Healthcare and Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Must be able to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office, followed by patient-specific field orientation on night shift. Also requires a mandatory weekend per month. Orientation schedule flexibility can be discussed.
• Tracheostomy and ventilator experience a plus!
