ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking Per Diem LPNs to work in Newark, Wilmington, or Kent/Sussex, Delaware within our Private Duty Nursing department. This exciting position offers:

• Schedule flexibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight care while parents and caregivers sleep, ensuring the patient’s safety and comfort
• Administer medications and other prescribed treatments as ordered
• Coordinate care with the family, the patient’s physician, and other healthcare professionals
• Build positive relationships by serving in a compassionate, responsive, and courteous manner
• Work overnight and weekends

Requirements:

• Delaware LPN license with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Associates degree or completion of an accredited LPN education program
• Experience in an acute or chronic care facility or home health agency is preferred
• Previous home healthcare and long-term care experience preferred
• Availability to attend a two-week daytime orientation at our Camden office, followed by patient-specific night shift orientation. A mandatory weekend per month is required. Flexibility in the orientation schedule can be discussed.
• Tracheostomy and ventilator experience is a plus
