Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Glen Burnie, MD is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse to perform adult and geriatric home health visits. The RN must hold an MD license, have at least 1 year of clinical experience, and home care experience is strongly preferred.

This role offers flexible schedules, 1:1 patient care, and opportunities for training and advancement. Base pay ranges from $55.00 to $62.00 per hour depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have an MD RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Home care experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with diploma or transcript.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and computer proficiency with EMR.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs.
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to supervisors.
• Follow up with, execute, and document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments and coordinate case management.
• Document observations and interventions in EMR on a tablet.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in MD.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications:

$55.00-$62.00 per point.
