Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in the Baltimore West Visits office is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team on a full-time, per-visit basis. You will serve adult and geriatric clients across Howard County while providing high-quality home health care.

Responsibilities include one-to-one patient care, medication administration, wound care, and case coordination. Mileage reimbursement and weekly pay are provided, with virtual orientation opportunities and clinical team support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Maryland RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one patient care per designated care plan.
• Perform home visits to adult and geriatric clients in geographic territories.
• Administer medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to Clinical/Client Services Manager.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications:
$55.00-$62.00 per point
