Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Per Diem role in Baltimore, Carroll & Harford County, MD. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitative and skilled nursing care in a community setting, without the typical home health commute.

The position requires Monday–Friday availability (2–3 days/week) and HH/Oasis experience; travel to cases is expected; base pay is commensurate with qualifications and ranges per hour.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Home care experience preferred but not required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Make home visits within assigned geographic territories.
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow up on doctors' orders and document accurately.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a Per Diem opportunity throughout Baltimore, Carroll & Harford County, Maryland.

This per diem position is to service seniors under their home health benefit but within a community setting – it's home health without the typical home health commute!

Must be available Monday thru Friday between 8:30am-5:00pm (Per Diem requires working 2 to 3 days per week).

Per Diem requires current HH/Oasis experience.

As a home care Registered Nurse, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information:
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications:
$52.00-$56.00 per point.
