Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required for Colorado.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, psychological, developmental and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; reassess and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
• Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Monitor care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate nursing care to team members as appropriate.
