Odessa Regional Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for High Risk Labor & Delivery on the night shift. You will provide direct care to high-risk obstetric patients, monitor vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to implement individualized plans.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas (Texas RN license required).
BLS certification is required.
NRP and STABLE certifications required.
COAP course and Suicide Prevention training required.
ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in the antepartum unit.
Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, administer medications, and perform interventions as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families about pregnancy complications, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency protocols.
Support patients emotionally and psychologically during prolonged hospital stays or complex pregnancies.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
