Walnut Creek Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and supervise STNAs to ensure high-quality resident care. You will develop and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with other health professionals.

Join us to participate in daily rounds, coordinate with families, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, while upholding nursing standards and regulations. State RN license and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Leadership and supervisory ability.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and facility regulations.
• Teamwork-oriented and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, administer meds, treat wounds, and perform procedures.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned STNAs to ensure high-quality care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with other professionals.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality care and identify improvements.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to Nurse Supervisor or Unit Manager.
• Maintain accurate resident records including histories and progress notes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care quality.
• Communicate with residents, families, and teams to coordinate care.
