Job summary

PAM Health in Delaware is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts in a hospital setting. The nurse will deliver and supervise patient care on the unit, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization. ACLS certification is required within 90 days, with BLS always required.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients in the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access to community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned; ACLS certification required for this role.
