Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sussex in Milford, Delaware, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, you will deliver, direct and supervise nursing care on the medical-surgical unit.

You will plan, coordinate, and provide patient education for post-hospitalization and discharge. ACLS/BLS certifications are required, with ACLS documentation due within 90 days, and there are opportunities for growth within our

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
