Job summary

Warren Center in Warren, RI is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care and supervise nursing assistants. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, safe patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations within the facility.

The successful candidate will hold a current RN license, be fluent in English, able to make independent clinical decisions, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices and regulations. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• RN with a current unencumbered state license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, transfer, and/or discharge
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility
• Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, and applying and changing dressings/bandages
