Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Shreveport in Louisiana is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our full-time nursing team. The RN will provide and coordinate patient care, follow the nursing process, and support discharge planning under the director of nursing.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
