White Oak Medical Center in Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team and extend our mission to deliver physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX is required.
• Maryland State nursing license is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while also striving to advance their own knowledge and skills through guidance from senior nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards while exemplifying Adventist HealthCare values.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties to maximize efficiency.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population and initiate corrective action when changes in condition are identified.
• Mentor students, colleagues and team members in patient-centered care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Passing NCLEX

Maryland RN license

AHA BLS

ACLS/PALS/NRP as required
