PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Wilkes-Barre is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient care team. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, you will deliver, direct and supervise patient care, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families for post-hospital care.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with a willingness to obtain ACLS if required for charge nurse duties.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or compact licensure required.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise patient care, coordinating with the care team.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospital care.
• Support Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification may be required.
