Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Wilkes-Barre is seeking an LVN/LPN to deliver nursing care under the direction of an RN on the unit. Responsibilities include data gathering, reporting, carrying out orders, and performing procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner according to hospital policies.

Requirements include current LPN/LVN licensure in the state, and BLS certification. Inpatient med-surg experience is preferred but not required; vent/trach/PICC line experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with vents/trachs/PICC lines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report data; carry out orders; perform therapeutic procedures.
• Care for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner.
• Uphold PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
