Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Norwich, Connecticut, is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to demonstrate clinical competence through the nursing process and to develop a strong nurse-patient relationship. Qualifications

Overview

Location: Backus Hospital (10309)

Shift: 7:00pm–7:30am, 36 hours weekly. Rotating holidays. Every other weekend required.

Job Summary

Demonstrates clinical competence through utilization of the nursing process and development of a synergistic nurse-patient relationship. Assesses and identifies patient problems/needs, establishes a plan of care, and implements and evaluates care provided to patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One (1) year RN experience and/or successful completion of the Backus Hospital Nurse Residency Program.
• Current unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
