Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Staff Nurse in Evanston, IL, with the ability to float to Glenbrook, Skokie and Highland Park Hospitals as needed. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus of $10K with 1 year Endo/GI experience, and a schedule from 6:45a to 5:30p, Monday through Friday, plus on-call and weekend shifts.

Required IL RN license, BLS & ACLS, and a NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Experience in Critical Care/Emergency Department and telemetry are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• IL RN license; CPR: BLS & ACLS required (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Position Highlights

• Sign on bonus: $10K w 1 yr Endo/GI exp. (Parameters apply)
• Position: Registered Nurse
• Location: Evanston Hospital with ability to float to Glenbrook, Skokie and Highland Park Hospitals as needed
• Full time
• Hours: 6:45a - 5:30pm M-F,
• Call: 1-2 weekday shifts every 2-3 weeks & 1-2 weekend days every 8 weeks
• 1 wkend every 6 mths

What You Will Do

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What You Will Need

• Education:
  • Graduate of a NLN accredited school of Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification:
  • IL RN license
  • CPR: BLS & ACLS required (Issued by American Heart Association)
• Experience:
  • Critical Care/Emergency Department and conscious sedation experience highly preferred.
  • Medical Surgical with telemetry monitoring experience preferred
