Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Highland Park Hospital with the ability to float to Evanston, Skokie and Glenbrook as needed. The role runs 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 32 hours weekly, with on-call and weekend shifts included. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with opportunities for annual increases based on performance.

Ideal candidates have NLN-accredited nursing education, IL RN license, and CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications. CCU/ED or telemetry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NLN accredited nursing school required.
• IL RN license required; CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Critical Care/Emergency Department and conscious sedation experience preferred.
• Telemetry monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care and develop/adjust patient care plans.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the clinical team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Deliver care during 7:00–17:30 with 32 hours per week, including on-call and some weekends.

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Sign on bonus: $10K

With 1 yr commitment and 1+ yrs of GI outpatient Lab exp

• Position: Registered Nurse
• Location: Highland Park Hospital with ability to float to Evanston, Skokie and Glenbrook as needed
• Hours: 7a - 5:30pm M-F (32 hrs/wk)
  • Call: 1-2 weekday shifts every 2-3 weeks & 1-2 weekend days every 8 weeks
  • 1 wkend every 6 mths

What you will do:

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need:

• Education:
  • Graduate of a NLN accredited school of Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification:
  • IL RN license
  • CPR: BLS & ACLS required (Issued by American Heart Association)
• Experience:
  • Critical Care/Emergency Department and conscious sedation experience highly preferred.
  • Medical Surgical with telemetry monitoring experience preferred
