You will collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, families, and care partners, mentoring the Nursing Team and applying sound clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Colorado RN license is required and must be in good standing.
• Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must read, write, and speak English well.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, carry out, and evaluate all aspects of resident care.
• Meet each resident’s total needs while following state and federal regulations and community policies.
• Keep nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and families informed about residents’ status.
• Listen to concerns and take corrective action or escalate as needed.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and keep care plans up to date.
• Document care issues and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Supervise CNAs and other staff and take corrective action when needed.
