Job summary

Active Day in the United States is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care per physician orders and emergent needs. The role involves coordinating care with other disciplines, educating staff, families, and the community, and ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

The RN will perform initial assessments, monitor vitals, assist with daily activities, and participate in continuing education.

Qualifications

• RN license required with active status.
• CPR certification and malpractice insurance where applicable.
• 1-2 years of full-time equivalent experience in a licensed health care facility.
• Bilingual English/Spanish may be required.
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, and applicable safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and administer medications per plan and orders.
• Perform initial assessments, monitor vitals, and document notes.
• Assist with daily activities and coordinate with care services.
• Deliver health education to staff, members, families, and community.
• Provide emergency care and complete incident reports as needed.
• Possibly fulfill Director of Nursing duties when required.
• Engage in continuing nursing education.
