Responsible for planning, delivering, documenting, and evaluating nursing care for patients in an assigned area, based on individual needs, provider’s orders, and recognized nursing standards. Directs nursing staff activities, observes and assesses patient conditions, and maintains accurate documentation. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
PRN and Float Staff must have at least one year of recent clinical experience in their area. All clinical nurses must acquire specific unit competencies, including certifications in ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and NRP.
