Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, document, and evaluate nursing care based on individual needs, provider’s orders, and recognized standards. Direct nursing personnel activities, observe and report patient conditions, and maintain accurate documentation. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, medical sciences, use of medical instruments, and asepsis principles.
• Ability to maintain positive relations and physical dexterity.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical experience in area of interest.
• Required certifications include ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and NRP.
• Preferred: BSN, OR experience, PACU/critical care, psychiatric experience, radiology, cardiac-pulmonary nursing, or related certifications.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, lift, and handle exposure to communicable diseases and chemicals.
