Valley Health System in Montvale, NJ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support a clinic-based patient care team. The RN will provide direct patient care under Physicians/APP direction, document in EMR, and ensure regulatory compliance for vaccines, medications, and laboratory logs.

Ideal candidates hold NJ RN licensure with BCLS, have at least 2 years in a clinic setting, and excel in teamwork, communication, and time management.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey RN license.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Ensures the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff according to provide excellent patient care with direction from Physicians and/or APP. May be responsible to maintain appropriate logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines and medication under regulatory guidelines. Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, advanced practice providers, Medical Director, and Management. Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring, and respective manner. Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures.

Education

Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Combination of equivalent years of relevant work experience and some formal education may be considered. BSN Preferred

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting. Also, demonstrates understanding of the operations in a medical practice environment preferred.

Current and valid New Jersey RN. Current and valid BCLS certification required.
