Valley Health System in Montvale, NJ is seeking a registered nurse to ensure workflow in the clinical area and direct clinical staff under physicians/APP. The role may maintain logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines and medications under regulatory guidelines, and manage storage and inventory of clinical supplies.

Position Summary

Ensures the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff according to provide excellent patient care with direction from Physicians and/or APP. May be responsible to maintain appropriate logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines and medication under regulatory guidelines. Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, advanced practice providers, Medical Director, and Management. Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring, and respective manner. Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures.

Education

Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Combination of equivalent years of relevant work experience and some formal education may be considered. BSN Preferred

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting. Also, demonstrates understanding of the operations in a medical practice environment preferred.

Skills

Current and valid New Jersey RN. Current and valid BCLS certification required.
