Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for General Medical Telemetry to provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a dedicated unit. You will apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care while guiding unlicensed staff and collaborating with the healthcare team.

The role is full-time with an evening shift (3pm-11:30pm) and rotating weekends. A NLN-accredited nursing program graduate with BLS/CPR certification is required; BSN strongly preferred; IL

Qualifications

• Current professional nursing licensure in IL required.
• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience in nursing unit or CNA experience if new graduate.

Hourly Pay Range

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Registered Nurse, General Medical Telemetry
• Location: Glenbrook Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, (3pm-11:30pm) Evening shift with Rotating Weekends.
• Hours: 32

What you will do

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: Prior nursing or if new graduate nurse, CNA experience preferred
