Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home hospice nursing care for patients in the Springfield area. This full-time role involves 1:1 direct patient care, medication administration, wound care, and comfort measures in patients' homes.

You will monitor patients’ conditions, follow doctors’ orders, and perform routine assessments. Local travel is required, with on-call duties after hours and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Active and current RN license.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their own home and perform nursing duties including medication administration, wound care, treatments and comfort care.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to the appropriate manager.
• Follow up with and document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends.

Full Time Hospice RN

We are recruiting for a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to reliably serve patients in the following counties in the Springfield, MO and surrounding area. This is a FULL TIME position.

What you’ll do:

• Visit a variety of clients in their own home-Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients’s conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors’ orders.
• Performing client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends

What you should have:

• Active and current RN license
• One year of clinical experience preferred
• Previous hospice experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you!
• Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned
