Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse for Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Georgia. This 13-week renewable contract offers full-time schedules (36 hours/week) across AM and PM shifts.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has an associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing, an active BLS certification, a multi-state compact RN license, and at least 2 years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Multi-state RN license (compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions and update care plans.
• Deliver care as outlined and communicate with the patient care team.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure accurate documentation of care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and uphold standards of care.
• Mentor and precept other nurses and support shared governance.
