Job summary

Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient care team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and support the care team with a focus on safety and quality.

This is a full-time position with AM and PM shifts, a 13-week renewable contract, and opportunities to participate in performance improvement initiatives, professional growth, and shared governance.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Instructor preferred.
• RN with Multi-state Compact license required or obtainable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Coordinate patient care plans and ensure safe patient flow.
• Advocate for patients and families, maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development.
• Mentor and precept other nurses and uphold governance and safety standards.
