Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the FT Nights in Acute Care. You’ll influence patient care through collaborative relationships with your manager and participation in hospital councils and national nursing initiatives.

Help shape decisions that improve outcomes and advance the nursing profession. Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply) with licensure obtained within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• One year hospital nursing experience preferred.
• RN must be licensed with NC BON; eNLC may apply; licensure must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and hospital councils to influence patient outcomes.
• Participate in national nursing initiatives and quality improvement efforts.

Education and Qualifications

• Education: Associate‘s Degree in Nursing
• License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON Registered Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Experience: One year hospital nursing experience
