Highlands-Cashiers Hospital in Morganton, NC is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our team. The role centers on delivering high-quality nursing care through the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation, while ensuring patient and family education.

You will provide leadership, document care, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs. Active NC RN licensure and BLS are required; eNLC may apply.

• License: Must have and maintain current RN licensure in NC; eNLC may apply

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Education:Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• License:Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON Registered Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification:BLS Healthcare Provider
• Experience: One year hospital nursing experience
