Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare in Hastings, Nebraska, is seeking a registered nurse to deliver compassionate medical and behavioral health care within a correctional setting. You will administer prescribed medications, monitor patient status, and coordinate services with practitioners.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification is required.
• Excellent documentation skills and HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of RN scope of practice in correctional facilities.
• Ability to coordinate medical services and educate patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care; record vitals and tests.
• Triage and prioritize care during sick calls.
• Coordinate medical services and report changes to practitioners.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Mentor new hires and support site manager as needed.
