Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe, evidence-based nursing practices.

The ideal candidate holds or is pursuing a BSN and has six months of nursing experience or participates in the Nurse Residency Program. Licensure as NJ RN and BLS required; must meet physical demands including lifting up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: BSN in progress or plan to acquire within 3 years; six months nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation.
• Licensed as NJ State Professional Registered Nurse; BLS (AHA) within 60 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices per latest evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
• Discharge planning and patient/family education as needed.
