Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks a registered nurse to provide independent nursing care in Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care settings, delivering routine and complex patient care according to treatment plans. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families.

You will ensure patient safety, manage patient flow, plan and evaluate care, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; 2 years minimum across Medsurg/Telemetry and Intermediate Care; 5 years preferred.
• RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS (pediatric care) is required.
• Ability to adapt to multiple unit assignments and shifts.

Role Overview:

This position involves providing independent nursing care in Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care settings, utilizing the nursing process to deliver routine and complex patient care in accordance with treatment plans. The nurse assesses patient needs, administers medications, monitors treatment effectiveness, and educates patients and families.

• Key Responsibilities: Ensuring patient safety, managing patient flow, planning and evaluating nursing care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Delegates tasks appropriately and uses evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
• Core Competencies: Critical thinking, effective communication, documentation accuracy, equipment management, and adherence to safety guidelines. Demonstrates leadership skills and flexibility across multiple units.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, chart interpretation, and safety procedures. Ensures proper equipment use and maintains accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; minimum 2 years of combined Medsurg/Telemetry and Intermediate Care experience (5 years preferred). Licenses include RN, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (for pediatric care). Must be adaptable to various unit assignments and work shifts.
