Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Manage patient flow by anticipating admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Oversee and evaluate nursing care and unit operations, including staffing and equipment maintenance.
• Promote a safe environment through adherence to safety practices and quality improvement activities.
• Follow clinical policies, maintain accurate health information documentation, and ensure proper use of medical equipment.
• Process medical orders accurately, interpret patient charts, and address safety concerns proactively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency and another specialty; 5 years preferred.
• Current RN license, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (within 30 days).

• Ability to adapt to multiple units and manage complex patient needs.
