Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One to two years of nursing experience, preferably in critical care or emergency settings.
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification.

• Providing direct patient care to critically ill, emergent, or labor and delivery patients.
• Applying medical-surgical nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life.
• Using the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Considering physical, cultural, social, and emotional factors in patient management.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to assess needs, set goals, and evaluate outcomes.
• Communicating effectively for culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate care.
• Educating patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Mentoring colleagues and applying evidence-based practices.
• Performing point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.
