Job Summary

Essential Functions
  • Coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with organizational policies and nursing protocols.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Utilize knowledge of growth and development to provide age‑appropriate care and education.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration per standards of practice.
  • Assist physicians during procedures within the scope of documented competency.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life‑saving interventions such as CPR and code team activities.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of patients, ensuring their voices are heard in care planning.
  • Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post‑discharge care.
  • Implement and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Monitor and operate medical equipment as required for patient safety.
  • Promote patient safety by adhering to National Patient Safety Goals and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Participate in audits, chart reviews, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to standards.

Critical Care RN
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including intravenous therapies.
  • Manage complex medical equipment such as ventilators and monitoring devices.
  • Perform procedures such as inserting central lines and managing tracheostomies.
Emergency Services RN
  • Rapidly assess and triage patients to determine severity and prioritize care.
  • Conduct emergency procedures such as intubation, wound care, and suturing.
  • Implement interventions to stabilize patients, including medication administration, IV initiation, and respiratory support.
Oncology RN
  • Administer chemotherapy and manage side effects.

Telemetry RN
  • Use telemetry equipment to monitor heart rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Analyze telemetry data to detect abnormalities and report findings.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care.
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies such as arrest, implementing appropriate interventions.
Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a clinical nursing role within an acute care setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical practices.
  • Proficient in patient assessment and effective communication of findings.
  • Competence in medication administration and side‑effect monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with state licensure or compact.
  • BCLS – Basic Life Support (required).
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred).
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred).
  • NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation (preferred).
