Job summary

New York Health (NYH) is seeking a Registered Nurse for Urology Float coverage. This role involves creating care plans, monitoring patients, and assisting with urologic procedures across multiple NYH locations.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized care plans for patients under supervision.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, and height; chart progress.
• Collaborate with the health care team to share expertise.
• Assist physician with urologic exams and procedures.
• Sterilize surgical instruments and maintain a sterile field.
• Prepare and administer injections as prescribed.
• Provide patient and family education about treatment expectations.
• Track patient response to treatment and medications.
• Complete MAR after each treatment.
• Provide discharge instructions specific to patient needs and emergency contacts.
