Job summary

Hedrick Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our float pool team. This full-time night position offers schedule flexibility and the chance to work across ED, Med Surg Intermediate, ICU, and House Supervisor roles.

You will provide nursing care, coordinate plans of care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of applicable RN experience, BLS certification, and an associate degree in

• 1 year of applicable experience as an RN is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross is required.
• Registered Nurse license with current credentials.

Positions Highlights

• Float between Emergency Department (ED), Med Surg Intermediate, ICU, and House Supervisor roles as needed.

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures. Tier 1 will work at one entity.
