Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our float pool at Hedrick Medical Center. This full-time night shift (7p-7a) offers schedule flexibility and opportunities to gain diverse experience across ED, Med Surg, ICU and House Supervisor roles.

You will utilize the nursing process, supervise other patient care staff, and coordinate plans of care for groups of patients while collaborating with the health care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of applicable nursing experience.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Supervise other patient care staff as assigned.
• Coordinate care plans for groups of patients and consult with the health care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work in a fast-paced float pool across ED, Med Surg, ICU and House Supervisor roles.

Hedrick Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic float pool team. This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive group while enjoying schedule flexibility and expanding your clinical skillset.

_ Shift: Full Time Nights, 7p-7a _

Positions Highlights:

• Float between Emergency Department (ED), Med Surg Intermediate, ICU, and House Supervisor roles as needed.

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures. Tier 1 will work at one entity.
