Job summary

LMH Health in Lawrence, KS seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care following policies and procedures while maintaining compliant patient records.

The RN will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, participate in discharge planning, and uphold professional standards. Requires an Associate degree in Nursing or diploma, active Kansas RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred for advanced units.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree in Nursing or a nursing diploma.
• Active Kansas RN license to practice in the state.
• Certification in BLS with ACLS/PALS preferred; BLS if ACLS/PALS not held.

Responsibilities

• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Communicate and collaborate with the clinical team to implement and monitor care plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the health care team.
• Demonstrate inter-professional teamwork to coordinate patient-centered care.
• Perform nursing care following unit policies and scope of service.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
