Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit. The role includes planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.

ACLS certification is required within 90 days; BLS is current. One year of inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Assist with Charge Nurse duties and ACLS certification as required.
