Job summary
Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time ICU-focused role within a large, multi-facility health system. The RN will provide safe, patient-centered care, collaborate with a broad healthcare team, and adhere to professional standards while enjoying comprehensive benefits and opportunities for overtime.
The RN must hold a Texas nursing license (or compact) and have ICU experience, with required BLS/ACLS/PALS.
Qualifications
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care ICU setting.
- RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
- BLS Healthcare Provider course per RQI program guidelines will be provided during orientation.
- Must be able to identify and address needs of populations served.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
- Deliver professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate Patient Centered Care as the foundation of all nursing activities.
- Adhere to Standards of Practice and maintain service-excellence standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
