Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), Denison, TX, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in a 414-bed acute care facility. The RN will participate in professional leadership, ensure safe nursing practice, and support the healthcare team in a values-driven environment.

The role requires Texas licensure, acute care experience, and BLS/ACLS certification, with orientation-based training for required courses.

Qualifications

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• One year full time experience in an acute care setting.
• RQI BLS and ACLS required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required ECC Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• The Standards of Practice guide the competent, safe, and professional practice.
