Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility in Denison, TX, invites experienced Registered Nurses to join our team. You will provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility standards and lead within the healthcare team, delivering patient-centered care with compassion.

Requirements include a Texas nursing license (or compact), at least one year in an acute care setting, and BLS/ACLS/RQI training.

Qualifications

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• One year full time experience in an acute care setting.
• RQI BLS and ACLS required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. See additional department proficiency requirements above.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.
