Job summary

iDEAL HIRE is hiring a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) for an outpatient surgery center in Pittsfield, MA. This is a 13-week travel contract with days on a 4x10-hour shift, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, including on-call as needed.

You will float to the main operating room and provide first-assist support while collaborating with surgeons and perioperative staff to maintain patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications

• Must have MA RN license (active or conditional).
• Minimum 3 years RNFA experience.
• CNOR, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as RNFA during surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams in outpatient center.
• Float to main operating room as needed.
• Provide first-assist while ensuring patient safety and outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant during surgical procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required; conditional license accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of RNFA experience required.
• CNOR certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in outpatient, ambulatory surgery, or operating room environments preferred.
• Travelers only; local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
