Elite Staffing Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Family Health Clinic at Langley AFB to support the 633d Medical Group. The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, including a one-hour unpaid lunch.

The RN will coordinate patient care with a broad healthcare team, perform exams and histories, provide health education, and administer medications as required. A valid RN license, BLS, and a clean background are required.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NLNAC- or CCNE-accredited program.
• One year of nursing experience after graduation.
• Current, active RN license (_unrestricted).
• American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Must pass government background check/security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate patient care with a wide range of healthcare professionals to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and facility policies.
• Perform physical exams and health histories.
• Provide health promotion, counseling, and education to patients.
• Administer medications, wound care, and other nursing interventions.
• Direct and supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals.
• Make patient care assignments based on scope of practice and staff skill levels.
• Recognize adverse signs and respond in emergencies.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to plan actions and educate patients and families.
• Schedule referrals and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
• Perform nursing services identified in the TO.
• Contribute to research to improve practice and patient outcomes.

Elite Staffing Network is seeking a Registered Nurse- Family Health for a full-time position at Langley AFB. This position will support the Family Health Clinic at the 633d Medical Group.

Duty Hours:

Work schedule shall be between Monday - Friday, 8 hours between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm to include a one-hour uncompensated meal break as determined by the clinical department.

The duties include, but are not limited to the following;

• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
• Perform physical exam and health histories.
• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
• Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
• Perform nursing services identified in the TO.
• Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• * Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• * Experience: One year of experience in nursing as identified in the TO after graduation.
• * Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required in the TO.
• * Life Support Certification: Possess and maintain a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• * Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
