Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation.
• New Jersey nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• BSN in progress or plan to acquire within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices per evidence-based care and standards.
• Ongoing communication with patients, family, and care team.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning and documentation.</li>
• Electronic point-of-care documentation of assessments and plans.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Discharging patients safely for continuum of care.
• Maintain current NJ Nursing license and comply with certifications.
