North Carolina Baptist Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to participate in unit governance, quality initiatives, and patient care delivery. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and ensure accurate EHR documentation.

Responsibilities include monitoring conditions, adjusting plans, and may include medication administration. Flexibility to float to other units is required; BSN is preferred and BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state(s).
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families along the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and proactively evaluates patient and unit outcomes.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution to support team collaboration and appropriate delegation.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on growth and development principles.
