Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Adult Psychiatry unit at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This full-time role offers an evening shift (3:00-11:30pm) with rotating weekends and holidays, 40 hours per week, and opportunities for growth.

Must hold an IL nursing license, graduate from an NLN-accredited program (BSN preferred), and have BLS/CPR certification. Psychiatry experience is a plus as you deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• IL nursing license required.
• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Adult Psychiatry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, compassionate nursing care for an adult psychiatry unit.
• Use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Direct unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering care.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Support safety and high-quality patient experiences.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Position Highlights:

• Position: RN - Adult Psychiatry

• Location: Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL

• Hours: Evening Shift (3:00-11:30pm) w/rotating weekends and holidays

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR Certifications ; American Heart Association

• Experience: Adult Psychiatry Experience preferred

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
