MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced Emergency Room team in Hartsville, SC. This is a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities include direct patient care in a high-acuity ED, triage, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and technicians.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in SC or compact state
• Minimum 2 years ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• TNCC or ENPC certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Perform triage assessments and prioritize care based on patient acuity
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, techs, and specialists
• Respond to critical and life-threatening situations with speed and clinical accuracy
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Requirements:

• Minimum most recent 2 years of emergency room or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and certifications required
• TNCC or ENPC certification a plus
• Strong critical thinking, triage, and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress, fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
